Year 2005 was a Break-through year for David DQ Lee.
After the time of slump years, he has risen again to face the reality.
David gathered his SHIT together and went on to win some ASS-KICKING international competitions!
Started with Concorso Musica Sacra Internazionale in Rome, Italy and landed on 1st Prize and first ASIAN singer to ever win in the competition history; that’s also where he met his life-saving Agent, Mariano Horak; whom handed out a World-wide management contract.
I had a Challenge later this year, I failed at the Francisco Vinas International Competition in 2003, and I was pretty much bumbed about it, and went to Barcelona again with Fuming rage, and WON first prize among 5 other special prizes!!!! I was overwhelmed, wasn’t expecting the grand prize...perhaps 3rd prize? ^^ Well, with a fat envelope full of cash, I paid off all my debts! woo hoo!!
Then on to NEW YORK! Won “George London Competition” which helped immensely to relocate to Berlin, Germany in 2006 where another new chapter of my life was waiting for me......
And also with Help of my Great Korean Manager, Ellie Chung, we recorded my first Orchestral Aria Album in Prague!
